Perinatal Mental Health Service - Torbay
The purpose of the Perinatal Mental Health Service is to work with women in pregnancy who are concerned about their emotional or mental wellbeing. The service provides advice, assessment and signposting. It is currently available to women planning to have their babies delivered at the Women’s Health Unit, Torbay Hospital or The Centre for Women’s Health at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
The service can be accessed by self referral or referral by your midwife, GP or other healthcare professional. There is an answerphone outside of office hours. The service aims to see everyone within four weeks of referral, unless urgent.
