Dangerous Dads Torbay
Dangerous Dads groups run regular, fun activities for fathers and male carers with children of all ages, both daughters and sons.
Dangerous Dads is a Children's Centre Project.
Torbay Dangerous Dads meets once a month and is open to all dads and male carers with children in Paignton, Brixham, Torquay and surrounding areas.
It has been run by Ian Blackwell, a local dad, since 2007. Ian has experience as a course leader and activity organiser, and has run events at museums, in the countryside and along coastal areas. He works at Plymouth University as the Project Manager for the Natural Connections Project, one of the largest outdoor learning projects in the UK. Ian is a Level 3 Qualified Forest School Leader and a Muir Trek Award leader. He is also a member of the Forest School Association and the Institute for Outdoor Learning. Ian is a qualified First Aider and has a CRB/ DBS Certificate.
