CAMHS Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team

The key function of this service is to provide urgent mental health assessments and follow up for children and young people, up to 18 years, with acute mental health problems, who may require hospital admission. The service will work intensively with children, young people and thier families/carers for a short period of time to help prevent admission and to reduce the risk of their mental health deteriorating further.

The service will be embedded within the CAMH Service and will provide a seamless step up and step down provision for children and young people, dependent upon their care needs.
