Torquay Leander is a swimming club which teaches swimming under ASA NPTS (Amateur Swimming Association, National Plan for Teaching Swimming). Their objective is to coach all abilities to be better and safer, in and near the water and to provider competitive swimming for those who wish to participate. Parents of younger children need to stay in the public area.

The swimming club has the Swim 21 quality assurance award.
