Mind helps people take control of their mental health. They do this by providing high-quality information and advice on diagnoses, conditions, treatments, rights and support. They also campaign to promote and protect good mental health for everyone.
Mind provides two confidential mental health information services. With support and understanding, they enable people to make informed choices.
- The Mind info line provide information on a range of topics including types of mental distress, where to get help, drug and alternative treatments and advocacy. Also providing details of help and support for people in their own area.
- The Legal Advice Service provides legal information and advice on mental health related law covering mental health, community care, capacity, discrimination/equality and human rights.
