CHICKS UK Respite Breaks

CHICKS is a registered charity which provides five day respite breaks for children aged between 8 and 15 years old who are living in difficult or deprived conditions and will not of had an opportunity to have another break in that year.

The breaks are situated at our three retreats in Cornwall, Devon and Derby which provide the opportunity to have some fun with peers of their own age and build upon their self-esteem and confidence. Our week long breaks give children a chance to get involved in a number of new, exciting activities and experiences.

We live by our own signature – giving the children the Gift of Hope, teaching the children that they can achieve anything and reach what may seem like impossible goals.

Referral Details

Referrals must be made through a professional person or organisation that works with the child or family. Organisations that currently refer to us include social services, schools, youth groups, family support teams and numerous other charities.

The 2016 Child Referral Form must be completed. Once this form is submitted a member of the Coordination Team will then call you to assess the child's case in more detail.

At this point a reservation can be made and you will need to ensure that the 2016 Consent and Medical Form is completed and signed in order to finalise the booking. Access the forms via the following link: http://www.chicks.org.uk/refer-a-child-6
