Supported Independed Living Schemes (SILS)

SILS provides housing and housing related support. They provide individually designed packages of housing, care and support by working in partnership.

Their services are for vulnerable adults. A vulnerable adult is someone who is 18 years or over and requires services to meet their everyday living needs. This includes disabled adults who have physical or sensory impairments, learning difficulties, mental health issues, frail older people and people who for any other reason are unable to care for or protect themselves. Most often the services provide support for adults with learning difficulties and adults with mental health support needs.
