ACE (Advisory Centre for Education)

ACE (Advisory Centre for Education) provides free independent advice and information about state education in England for 5-16 year olds. ACE offers a free telephone adviceline.  Advice booklets can be downloaded from the website.  Topics covered include: school admissions and appeals, exclusion from school, special educational needs and disability, attendance, bullying and raising concerns with your child's school.

Thier regular magazine (ACE Bulletin) provides up-to-date information on current issues & sign posts key publications and reports.

They also arrange training course for professionals working with parents of children with SEN.

Adviceline is open Monday to Wednesday, 10am to 1pm. Term time only

Calls to the adviceline cost the same as calling a standard landline number - even from a mobile. 0300 numbers are included in any inclusive call minute packages offered by phone operators.
