COVID-19 Vaccinations for 12 - 15 yr olds - The jab protects your teen and your family

Covid 19 - vaccinations for 12 - 15 yr olds

Cases of COVID-19 are falling in Torbay and life is getting back to normal, but this is thanks in part to the huge success of the vaccination programme.

Figures show that vaccination among 12–15-year-olds remains lower than in other age groups.

It’s important to remember that being fully vaccinated helps protect not just children, but also their families and friends, particularly the vulnerable.

It also helps to keep kids in school.

After two years of lockdowns, some families may be thinking of going abroad this summer. If you’re lucky enough to be going on a foreign holiday, make sure you know the vaccination requirements for the country you’re travelling to.

Several countries require over 12s to be fully vaccinated and if this isn’t the case, they may need to get a test.
