Every school is legally required to publish a wide range of policies and other information about their provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) on thier school websites.
It is also a requirement for the Local Authority (LA) to include as much information as possible about SEND provision in the Local Offer.
To assist schools Torbay LA has created an SEN Information template.
This template has been co-produced by SENDCo/SEN and can be used by settings as a guide towrite their SEN Information Report. The template covers the relevant points detailed in the law and is accompanied by a guidance document. Schools are equally free to create and use their own templates if preferred, providing they are mindful of ensuring their own template is legally compliant.
